Interpreting results (CASP)

A workshop, run along CASP principles, on the numerical techniques used to summarise and interpret the results of randomised controlled trials and other research designs. Includes continuous, binary and survival outcomes, p-values and confidence intervals with small group work interpreting the results of studies using different kinds of outcome.

Participants are invited to bring along examples of studies where they need assistance in interpreting results. for an instant trouble-shooting workshop at the end of the day. If the problem is complex to explain, they are encouraged to bring multiple copies of the paper to help the group decode the results

No prior knowledge is required, but this workshop can be tailored to the needs of participants and delivered at any level required.
